There are so many different theories out there that state you should only eat 3 meals or you should always have 6 meals.
Well here is the deal, do what fits into your lifestyle!
I always had 5 meals – Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, Snack, Dinner and this worked really well for me; I still made sure I was hitting my calorie intake however it was only spread over the 5 meals. Recently I have changed to 4 meals, I have not changed my calories nor have I changed my percentage of macronutrients I have just decided to place it into 4 meals instead of 5.
Is this wrong? Absolutely not, I am still gaining al my nutrients through the 4 meals and to be honest I am not thinking about food as often as I was which has really helped me create a better relationship with food.
Then there is the question of prepping or not. Again this is all up to you, I personally love prepping my life is so busy that I don’t have time to think let alone prepare food during my work week. However for me this means that I eat almost the exact same thing every day for a week, this is impossible for some people they prefer variety otherwise they will binge.
Again is this wrong? Absolutely not! Preparing your meals for a week is great if you can stick to the same food, or preparing daily is also still just as achievable. It all comes down to your lifestyle and what will work.
There is not 1 right way, so do what works for you!
